Reunited

There is a song that has lyrics that go, "reunited and it feels so good".  Well we were finally able to get together with our play group twice over the holidays and that song came to my mind as I watched the kids play together.  The "big" kids have been together since before they were one.  Molly Kate, Devin, Noah, and Wyatt are good friends and always play well together.  They have literally grown up with each other.  Now we each have a "little" kid too and it's fun to see them interact with the big kids and the kids their age.  I hate that we haven't seen our friends very much this year.  The big kids have all started preschool and we are on different schedules so this fall we have only gotten together a hand full of times.  We are thinking about getting the little ones together while the big ones are in school.  Walker really needs to play with kids his age and I really need the girl time with my Mommy friends!  I love our play group and we have really missed our friends.  After Christmas, we got together two weeks in a row.  It was unseasonably warm so the kids were able to play outside.  They loved being outdoors and we soaked up the 70-75 degree spring weather.  The kids found a pile of leaves and had a blast. I tried to capture a little bit of that fun.........

These look like fall pictures instead of January winter pictures!  A pile of leaves and good friends makes for a very fun play date!  I hope we get together with our play group again soon!  It was so good to be reunited again!
