Donuts with Dad

Last Friday, Daddy got to go and spend a little time with Molly Kate at school.  The 3 year olds were studying the letter D and to celebrate they had Donuts with Dad.  MK was all smiles and soooo excited about it!
She told me that Mrs. Melissa said they were going to paint their Daddy's hand print and they could all eat donuts together.  She only eats powdered sugar donuts so she told me that she was going to eat at home.
Walker stood by Sissy so I quickly snapped a picture.  His hair is so long and a mess.  I am planning on getting it cut soon.  He misses MK when she is at school but he also enjoys one on one time with Mommy too.
Jeremy met us at school a little before 9:00.  Then he took MK up to her classroom.  As I was leaving the parking lot, I looked back and saw so many Daddies holding their child's hands and walking them into school.  It was the sweetest thing!  I even got a little teary eyed thinking about what a special day this was for MK and her friends.
Daddy and his best girl!
This was in MK's backpack..........
Such a sweet keepsake!  I loved it and so did MK and Jeremy.  They had a good time.  Jeremy said MK was shy and quiet like she usually is in new situations but that she smiled and nodded a lot.  She was shy because Jeremy was there.  They both told me that Jeremy had donuts and MK tasted one by licking it.  True to her word, she didn't eat one.  Jeremy was able to meet all of the children in her class and their Dads.  He also had a chance to visit a little with Mrs. Melissa, MK's teacher.  The Dad's left at 9:30 and the kids had a regular school day.  I love MK's preschool and am so happy that they do such fun things to celebrate the letters in the alphabet. They are helping to create such special memories for my sweet girl.  Donuts for Dad was a big success and fun for the Daddies and kids.  I know MK and Jeremy enjoyed it!
