Santa left Walker the Rockin' Elmo that he asked for and a Toy Story ride on car, and a mini race track.
Santa left Molly Kate the pink vintage kitchen with the bowl of fruit on top that she asked for and a baby doll changing table.
Walker woke up first around 6:30. Jeremy and I kept him out of the living room for as long as we could. It gave us time to set up the camera and get ready for Christmas morning. Finally at 7:00 we had to wake Molly Kate up. She never sleeps in but she was so worn out from the last two nights that she probably would have slept until 8:00. She opened her eyes and we were all in her room. She said, "hey I didn't know all of ya'll were here." Then she realized what day it was and the next thing out of her mouth was, "did Santa come?"
The first thing Walker did was get on his car. He knows how to hold down the button and go!
MK ran to her kitchen and then checked out the stockings and what was around them. She was most excited about the stickers and mini lalaloopsy's that Santa had brought. Here they are checking everything out........
And of course, Walker had to check out the kitchen too. He loves to "cook" things. There were a few fights early in the morning over the kitchen but I had expected that and we settled them pretty quickly.
And the morning pretty much went like this.........
There was a little cooking and a little sharing,
a little riding,
a little crying (I can't remember why now but I'm pretty sure it had to do with sharing).
There was a little rearranging,
a little drumming with Elmo,
and a lot of smiling!
Walker got his turn in the kitchen while MK looked at what was in her stocking.
These are Walker's two favorite fruits: banana and apple. They look pretty real and I think at first he thought he could eat them!MK enjoyed pulling surprises out of her stocking. She loved everything that Santa brought her this year.
Then we finally got Walker to look at what was in his stocking.
He was most excited about this toothbrush and toothpaste. He loves to brush his teeth.
There was a lot of playing and then MK was ready to open the gifts under the tree.
I absolutely love Christmas morning. I love my kiddos in their Christmas pajamas and their faces when they run out to see what Santa has left for them. Jeremy and I were both just as excited as they were. All the stress was definitely worth it - this morning was definitely one of the best mornings ever! I know my kiddos would agree!
